To start storing with Your Space Self Storage Newbury we will need the following
1. Identification
Our stores are safe and secure because we check the identification of all our customers. Please provide two forms of ID: one photo bearing e.g. passport or driving licence: the other with your address, such as a utility bill or bank statement (less than 3 months old).
2. Payment
Preferred method of payment is by credit/debit card. You will need to pay 4 weeks rental + VAT in advance plus a security deposit.
3. Contact Details
Please provide full contact details, plus an alternative contact should we be unable to reach you. If you wish nominated friends or colleagues to have access to your unit, simply provide written consent and two forms of identification. One photo bearing e.g. passport or driving licence; the other with their address, such as a utility bill or bank statement (less than 3 months old).
4. Padlock
To ensure your unit is secure a padlock must be placed on your unit door/s. Only you or your nominated individuals should hold the key or combination number. Padlocks can be purchased from our store.
5. Insurance
For the security of your goods, insurance is compulsory. Proof of insurance documentation is required stating your goods are covered whilst in storage. Alternatively, we can give you the benefit of our insurance at a risk administration charge of £3.20 +VAT per £1000 of value per 4wks. Minimum cover is £2000.
Extra Information
Notice Period
14 days notice is normally required when leaving.
Reservations
If you wish to reserve your storage unit/s this can be arranged up to two weeks in advance.
